Meet the Doctors
Dr. Brandon J. Wentzel
Dr. Brandon J. Wentzel graduated with honors from the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls in 2004. During his schooling, he served as an intern at the Depew Health Center in Depew, N.Y., the salvation army of Buffalo, and was one of a select few to be awarded a chiropractic rotation within Monroe Community Hospital of Rochester. In keeping with his deep respect for our nation’s veterans, Dr. Wentzel also served an externship with the VA Hospital of Buffalo. As one of only two chiropractors on staff, he was the first American to ever extern as a chiropractor within a VA Hospital. During this time, he treated military personnel returning from overseas and assisted highly respected orthopedic surgeons and pain management specialists. A Pittsburgh native, Dr. Wentzel graduated with honors from California University (PA) in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Chiropractic Medicine.
Dr. Yarelie Rivera
Dr. Yarelie Rivera is a 2004 honors graduate from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls. During her studies, Dr. Rivera completed an internship at the Levittown Health Center in Levittown, N.Y. while also participating in rotations at the Salvation Army of Freeport, the Haven Clinic of Bethpage and at the State University of New York in Farmingdale. Dr. Rivera also received a certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association for Principles and Practice of Chiropractic Pediatrics and proficiency on Webster Technique for pregnancy. Chiropractic pediatrics and pregnancy is indeed Dr. Rivera’s passion. “There is no greater satisfaction than being able to help a child live a happier, healthier life,” she says. Dr. Rivera graduated from University of Puerto Rico with a bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences. Dr. Rivera has held positions as director of chiropractic for the Institute of Pain Management in Beaver, PA as well as teaching patho-physiology as an Adjunct Instructor for the School of Health & Rehab Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.
